This Is Not a Government Office or Records Custodian. Cicero Residents Directory is privately operated. We cannot retrieve or certify a record, verify a current address, or change an entry held by a government office. Send that request to the office that has the record. For emergencies, dial 911. If you are being stalked or harassed, contact local police.

Route a Record Question

Choose the office based on the record needed, not on a name alone. The following routes reflect the Town of Cicero and Onondaga County research sources:

  • Town administrative or permit records: direct an existing-record request to the Town Clerk or the relevant town department
  • Town FOIL: use the official Cicero forms route for an identifiable record and narrow date range
  • Land, deeds, and mortgages: use the Onondaga County Clerk
  • Assessment or parcel context: start with Onondaga County Real Property Tax Services
  • Vital, court, and voter matters: use Vital Statistics, the relevant court clerk, or the state and county elections routes, because each has separate access rules

Town Clerk and FOIL contact: Tracy Cosilmon, Town Clerk and Records Access Officer, Town Hall, 8236 Brewerton Road, Cicero, NY 13039. Town Hall’s published phone is 315-752-1180. The official forms route says to complete the FOIL form and mail it to the form address or deliver it to the Records Access Officer at Town Hall. The research did not confirm a Cicero-specific FOIL fee schedule, response schedule, or appeal contact, so verify those details on the current form before relying on them.

For a useful FOIL request, name the existing record type, street address or tax-map number, person or applicant if known, and a narrow date range. New York’s Freedom of Information Law is Public Officers Law Article 6, §§84–90, but court and vital-record requests follow separate procedures. Cicero Town Court is reached at 315-699-8478, while Onondaga County Surrogate’s Court and other state court resources are governed by court and clerk rules rather than a general FOIL request.
